Low-Loss Fiber - The cable uses a 1mm single strand low-loss plastic fiber in a 5mm OD cable jacket. With only 0.14dB/M attenuation, this cable not only outperforms many glass optic fiber cables, but is much more durable and less susceptible to damage due to bending.



Slim Metal Connectors - M-Series optical cables use metal connectors with epoxy bonding for a secure and durable connection. Epoxy bonding does not exert any additional stress on the optical fiber, unlike common compression-fit connectors. The slim connector profile ensures that it will not interfere with adjacent connectors.



Supple Cable Jacket - The M-Series optical cable jacket is made from a very supple PVC material, allowing the cable to be more easily routed without developing kinks. Free-Floating Strain Relief - Lack of well designed strain relief is a common cause for cable failure.
